Brief Description of Subject: Tenth: Commission the Disciples
Our Lord (the Sun of Righteousness) and eleven disciples (11 stars) on the mountain (mark 3L13). The book and torch are symbols of proclamation (The Word, Christ, proclaimed in the Scriptures, is the light of the world and the light for our path) the disciples are sent out in the name of the Father (hand) Son (The P in the X) in Greek the “Chi Rho”- the first two letters of the name of Christ and the Holy Spirit (dove). The disciples are commissioned to baptize all nations (water pouring fro the baptismal shell over the globe).
