"God has given his angels charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone." Psalm 91:11, 12

The more materialistic science becomes, the more angels shall I paint: their wings are my protest in favor of the immortaliy of the soul. -Sir Edward Coley-Burne-Jones, English painter

See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.  Exodus 23:20

A word from the artists...
We consider it a privilege to have been asked to design and build six stained glass windows for Friendship Church's new facility. We thank our families and friends for the support they have shown during the past nine months while we spent many hours researching, sketching, cutting, grinding, leading, and mudding. We thank Maria Orr for her expertise in finalizing our designs and for the glass paintings she so skillfully rendered for each of the figures. Most of all we thank God for the gift of His Son, which was our ultimate inspiration throught this project.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.

If you have any questions, additions or corrections, or think you can provide better images and are willing to share them, please contact donald20@msu.edu
