Brief Description of Subject: Window Description: St. Thomas has a rolled up scroll in his right hand symbolizing a preacher of the Gospel. The carpenter's square in his left hand alludes to the legend that while evangelizing in India in 52 AD he built what is now called the St. Thomas Syro - Malabar Catholic Church.
Note: crosshatching pattern visible in curtain is the result of a screen placed on the outside of the window for protection.
