Brief Description of Subject: John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit but without me you can do nothing.” The many grape vineyards in Michigan are a beautiful symbol of Christ and His people. The grapevine signifies that we need to keep rooted in Jesus who is the vine. Through His Church Christ gives us this opportunity. We are already pruned for having heard the Word and heeding His call. The vineyard is the protected sanctuary where we as children of God attached to the vine, Christ, flourish.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.

If you have any questions, additions or corrections, or think you can provide better images and are willing to share them, please contact stainedglass@museum.msu.edu
