Brief Description of Subject: Description of Window: In his right hand Joseph is holding a flowering almond branch which symbolizes his being chosen by God (Numbers 17:8) and in his left hand he is holding the Christ child. The Christ child is posed as "Salvator Mundi" -- the Savior of the world. The pose consists of Christ with his right hand raised in giving a blessing and his left hand holding the orbis cruciger.
