Brief Description of Subject: Andrew is holding the tall cross and a net. The net and the boat in the background represent his past life as a fisherman. Also in the background is the saltire cross. symbol of crucifixion in Greece as well as loaves and fishes reminding us of his part in feeding of the multitude.
