Building Notes: The church was slated to be destroyed as the city needed the land. However under pressure the Mayor allowed the Church building to be moved to its present site. This occurred in 1955. With the Church in its new place the Bell Tower was added. All of the pictorial stained glass was put in after the building was moved to its present location in 1955.
