Subject/Title of Window: Nativity

Brief Description of Subject: This three lancet window illustrates the Old Testament biblical story of the Nativity. The center lancet depicts the Nativity scene of Christ, Mary and Joseph. The surrounding lancets depict Christ’s early childhood. The rose window above the three lancets shows the prophet Isaiah foretelling the coming of Christ. The tongs holding burning coal is a symbol of Isaiah.
