Brief Description of Subject: Concept: Legend that St. Dominic created the standard version of the Rosary from an apparition of the Virgin Mary. Description: St. Dominic dressed as a monk is kneeling and with open arms looks up to see the Virgin Mary. She appears as the "Queen of Heaven" with crown and scepter. In her right hand is the Rosary. On her lap is the infant Jesus holding a a rosary in his right hand and a Dominican cross in his left hand.
Inscription: "Ofiarowalo Bractwo Sw Rozanca". Translation: Donated by the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary
