Subject/Title of Window: Martin Luther

Brief Description of Subject: In the bottom right Luther is seen here pointing to the scriptures, the authority for his words and for the entire reformation. In the upper left panel is Luther at his desk symbolizing the production of the German Bible as well as his scholarship, creative thinking and his theological writings. Below him is a rose symbolic of the love of Christ. The lower left panel shows a tower which recalls the mighty fortress is our God hymn. The upper right panel shows the shield of faith and a cup and bread representing the Holy Communion.
