Brief Description of Subject: In the lower left panel St. Paul is shows his light binding conversion as well as the palm and stones of the martyrdom of Stephen. In the upper right St. Paul preaches the gospel of the redemptive cross. In the background is a Greek temple, symbolizing his apostleship in the west as well as an ink pot which symbolizes his writings. The upper left panel is his emblem, open bible with the sword of spirit. The lower right panel shows a small ship which symbolizes his travels and the mission command to the church.
