Subject/Title of Window: Window of healing
Brief Description of Subject: This window presents three scenes depicting the miracles of Christ and his power of healing. At the top is a windmill which is a symbol for the apostle James the less. Below this down friends of a palsied man lower him through the roof to Christ’s feet where he is healed. Beneath this, Christ heals the blind man by anointing is eyes with moistened clay. The next scene below presents the water of life flows around the early form of the caduceus, which is the serpent Moses lifted up on his staff in the wilderness to restore the children of Israel to health. At the bottom Lazarus is restored to life which is being observed by his sister, Mary and Martha.
