Subject/Title of Window: Panel 20

Brief Description of Subject: A shield, separated into quardrants, stands alone. The lower-left and upper-right quadrants contain red and white vertical stripes. The upper-left and lower-right quadrants have a gold background and blue lions.

Heraldic significance:
Red symbolizes warriors or martyrs, military strength, and eagerness to serve one’s country. White symbolizes cleanliness, wisdom, innocence, peace, sincerity, and joy. Gold symbolizes elevated thought and understanding, respect, virtue, majesty, and generosity. Blue symbolizes steadfastness, strength, truth, and loyalty. The shield in this panel represents the arms of Percy, Earl of Northumberland, and the argent of Lucy.
