The Epistle side of the nave contains nearly identical windows. Each window is predominately decorative in nature with blue the featured color --- the traditional color associated with the Virgin Mary.
The symbol used in this window is the fleur-de-lis, a stylized version of the flower of the lily. Depending on the context, with its three petals it symbolizes the Trinity, or as a symbol of royalty, it is given to the Virgin Mary as the Queen of Heaven.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.
All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
