The top sections picture the "Creation. Coming out of a cloud (heaven) is the hand of the Creator pointing downwards to his creation --- Sun (sky and light), mountains (land), and fish (sea and animal life).
The bottom section pictures the Tree of Knowledge with a serpent wound around it. This refers to Adam's sin in the Garden of Eden. This sin stains all of humankind. Jesus' death atoned for that sin and it now will be cleansed through Baptism.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.
All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
