Brief Description of Subject: Two arched windows. Left depicts St. Jerome, translator of the Bible into Latin. Medallion above depicts him writing with a skull on his desk and his pet lion sleeping at his feet. Below shows him with some other people. Right depicts St. Charles Borromeo, one of the great leaders of the Counter-Reformation. Top medallion shows him giving St. Aloysius Gonzaga his First Communion. Bottom shows him administering Holy Communion to people. Imported from Munich, Germany.
