Brief Description of Subject: The theme for this church's decoration is "I Am the Vine, you are the branches". The eight windows of the church depict different trees, literal and symbolical, from Scripture. Each of them have copper ornaments in front of the windows. This window is a Jesse tree, symbolizing the descent of Jesus from King David. At bottom is a crown for Jesse, father of King David. Next crown up is King David's, with six-pointed star nearby. Above this is a crown for Our Lady, with a lily, symbol of purity, growing out of it. Top crown is Our Lord's, with a Chi-Rho growing out of it. All windows designed by Margaret Bouchez Cavanaugh, of Warren, MI.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.

If you have any questions, additions or corrections, or think you can provide better images and are willing to share them, please contact donald20@msu.edu
