Subject/Title of Window: Annunciation
Brief Description of Subject: This window depicting the Annunciation is located high above the altar. The event is covered in Luke 1:26-38.
The angel Gabriel greets the Virgin Mary with the words written in Latin on the banner which translates to "Hail, full of grace." A humble Virgin Mary is seen accepting the invitation by God to bear the Messiah. The Holy Spirit in the form of a dove is seen above Mary's head making the word incarnate ---- Luke 1:35 "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow." The decorative border on each light features a floral pattern.
