Building Name: St. Charles Catholic Church

City: Newport

Window Shape: 1 (half circle)

Subject/Title of Window: IHS

Brief Description of Subject: Arched window, translucent diamond pattern,w ith purple and green floral border. Red shield n center with IHS monogram in silver, and a Latin cross with arms widening outward from the center and then narrowing again to points for the I.
Most of the church's windows were replaced with new ones in 1945. This window was not, and is believed to be an original from 1882. Possibly made by Detroit Stained Glass Works.

Condition of Window: fair, cracked glass
