Subject/Title of Window: Little Children and Jesus

Brief Description of Subject: The basis of this window is found in Matthew 19:13-14. "Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. Jesus said, 'Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'"

Comments taken from "Our Stained Glass" c. 1970 "... in the Infant's Room at the north end of the narthex, there are three small panels showing Christ with the children. If you look carefully over the assembly of little ones, you will notice that all races and many nationalities are represented among them."

This window was designed by Jonathan Edwards for Willet Windows now called Willet Hauser Architectural Glass. At the bottom of the right panel you will find the logo of the maker.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.

If you have any questions, additions or corrections, or think you can provide better images and are willing to share them, please contact donald20@msu.edu
