Brief Description of Subject: This window is located in the original baptistery for this church. It has since been replaced by a larger one in the narthex.

In the middle of this window is an image of a scallop shell. From paintings on the walls of the catacombs the scallop shell has been associated with Baptism since early Christianity.

Comments from "Our Stained Glass Windows" c.1970 "In the rear of the church in the baptistery , you may see some of the most colorful and charming bits of stained glass that exists in our area. These tiny windows are favored with an almost ideal setting for stained glass and they certainly are equal to their fortunate setting. Each panel of glass carries in it a very appropriate  and time-honored symbol of the sacrament of baptism. The windows are as charming as can be and merit the viewer's gaze as frequently as possible."
