Subject/Title of Window: Rainbow

Brief Description of Subject: The rainbow is a symbol of the love of God. It appears as a sign after the great floor indicating that there will be no other floods and that God will always keep covenant with his people. Whenever the rainbow appears in the sky, the religious community is reminded of the patient and steadfast love of God. The dove wiht olive branch in its beak signals safe pasage for Noah and his family to dry land. Even when every kind of flood seeks to overwhelm us today, both symblas remind us that God will keep his promises and ses us to a place of safety.
