Subject/Title of Window: The Hand of God

Brief Description of Subject: The hand extending from above is probably the most outstanding symbol of God the Father, who cares for each one of us as does the Shepherd who cares for his flock. The shepherd's staff was used to rescue wayward sheep adn to protect the flock from the dangers of the beast's in the wilderness. The figure in the lower right is that of a person kneeling before the Father God receiveing healing, comfort and safety by the all powerful hand of God. Like sheep gone astray or the prodigal lost in the far country. God's hadn and arms are always open to receive us back home.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
