Brief Description of Subject: Inspired by Christ, St. Paul is seen writing a letter. Christ is symbolized here by the roundel with a rayed nimbus in the form of a cross (redemption), and inscribed with the first and last capital letters of the Greek alphabet --- Rev. 22:13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."

The New Testament is comprised of 27 books, 13 of which are letters attributed to St. Paul. One of the most quoted of his words comes from a letter he sent to the Corinthians ---1Corinthians 13:13 (KJV) "Abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
