The Keys, (one gold and the other silver) recalls Peter’s confession and the Lord’s statement regarding the keys, which he committed to the Church on earth.
Inverted Cross, upon which Peter is reported to have died.

Two fish crossed, representing his original occupation and his call to become a fisher of men.
Fisherman’s net- what he uses to make his livelihood. Andrews cross. Tradition holds that Andrew died, while preaching the Gospel in Greece, on a Cross of this sort.
