Subject/Title of Window: St. Scholastica

Brief Description of Subject: Background: St. Scholastica (c. 480 - 542) was the twin sister of St. Benedict of Nursia. She is believed to have founded the women's division of the Benedictines. She lived near her brother's abbey at Monte Cassino and once a year would visit him and discuss sacred texts with him. Her attributes in iconography are: dressed as a Benedictine nun with a crozier, a dove, a crucifix, and a book.

Window Description: St. Scholastica is costumed as a Benedictine nun with a crosier (signifies she was an abbess). She is holding a book -- discussed sacred texts. She has pendant with a crucifix - dedicated her life to the Lord.

Inscription: There was a donor inscription but not visible on available photo.
