Brief Description of Subject: Constantine, a Roman Emperor defeated Mayent, at Milvian Bridge on the Tiber River. On the eve of battle, in a dream, Constantine saw a cross in the sky and heard a man’s voice say “in hoc signe vinces, By this sign shalt you conquer” He put this emblem on the stands of his legions. This battle established Christianity in the empire.
