Subject/Title of Window: Thomas

Brief Description of Subject: Brief Description: Medallion in center contains attributes of the apostle Thomas. Idol worshiping men tried to stone Thomas to death but their hands became paralyzed. Thomas then prayed for them and their hands were healed and they converted to Christianity --- hence the three stones. He is reputed to have built churches in India and is the patron saint of stone masons -- thus the chisel and rock. Legend that the Blessed Virgin Mary dropped her cincture to Thomas during her Assumption --- thus the cincture.

The window is a memorial to Ebin Ashton who died in 1922.
