Subject/Title of Window: Communion

Brief Description of Subject: Background: The sacrament of Communion is described in 1 Corinthians 11:23 - 26 paraphrasing it -- at the Last Supper the Lord took bread and wine and blessed it and said "Do this in remembrance of me. For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup of wine, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes."

Description of window: The background of this Chapel window is made up of diamond shaped pieces of glass -- a variation of the rectangular shaped pieces that make up the background of the nave windows of the Church. The window contains the icons forf the sacrament of Communion -- wheat (bread), grapes (wine), cup with a cross and Divine light shining down on it (Communion Cup).

The window was given as a memorial to Dora Gallimore Hondrop, David W. Mather, Herald F. and Mildred Tyler Hamill, Helynn Tyler Caplin and Alta Hamill Woodworth.
