Subject/Title of Window: Creation

Brief Description of Subject: Window description: This window is one of  6 roses in the nave 3 on each side. This is the first one and depicts the 6 days of Creation from Genesis Chapter 1. The last of the rose windows will depict the end of the world -- the Apocalypse.

12 o'clock-- LUX -- light -- first day --dextera Dei on top with fingers pointing to a rainbow, lightning
2 o'clock-- FIRMAMENTUM -- land --2nd day -- expanse between waters and there was morning and evening
4 o 'clock -- VEGETABILIA -- plants -- 3rd day -- waterfall, plants and trees, sun
6 o 'clock -- CAELI -- heaven -- 4th day -- stars, moon, and planets
8 o' clock -- AVES PISCES -- birds and fishes -- 5th day  -- birds and fishes
10 o'clock -- HOMO -- man -- 6th day -- Man (Adam) able to lie down with the lion and the lamb

In the center is the Creator's Triangle -- 6 sides for the 6 days of creation. The inscription in the triangle is in Hebrew; I think it may be "El Shadai" -- God Almighty.
