Subject/Title of Window: Satan and Holy Spirit
Brief Description of Subject: This decorative aisle window was designed to let light into the Church. It is in the shape of a lit candle symbolizing Jesus --- "I am the light of the world." (John 8:12). The window features two shields with symbols.
Symbols used:
Dragon: A symbol for Satan (evil) --- "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels against a dragon ... And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world." (Revelation 12:7 - 9 KJV)
Descending Dove: A symbol for the Holy Spirit --- "Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, and the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him." (Luke 3:21 - 22 KJV)
