Subject/Title of Window: Angel of Praise

Brief Description of Subject: This window was brought to the church by Gen. John Biddle in honor of his mother, Susan Dayton Ogden Biddle, who was the original organist when the chapel was consecrated in 1868. "Angel of Praise" had been fabricated in 1894 for a New York church, but when they were unable to complete the purchase, Biddle secured the window for St. James. It was installed in 1898.
