Brief Description of Subject: From the booklet, "First United Methodist Church, Grand Ledge, Michigan. Walking Tour Guide of the Stained Glass Windows," by C. Bernard Johnson (1994).
The next window was a memorial for Lizzie Benjamin. Lizzie came from Fon Du Lac, WI. to Eagle with her parents, the Stinsons, when she was two years old. Two years later her parents died and she became a member of the family of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Williams. Lizzie joined the church by letter in 1881. Following her marriage to Elmer Benjamin in 1885, she became a Grand Ledge resident. Lizzie died May 26, 1911, just before the corner stone laying for the church building.
