Brief Description of Subject: All of the aisle windows consist of three lancets which were designed to let light into the Church. Each contains a shield with a Christian symbol.

The shield in this window features roses. As a Christian symbol, roses have many meanings, here are but a few --- A Red rose is a symbol of Christ's blood that he shed for our salvation. A white rose symbolizes Christ's purity --- he is the spotless lamb. The rose has become most identified with the Blessed Virgin Mary. She is called the "Mystical Rose" as well as the "Rose Ever Blooming."
