Subject/Title of Window: “Agriculture” The Sower and Abel

Brief Description of Subject: Next on the right Agriculture is illustrated in the left hand lancet by the Sower (Mark 4:3) with a sheaf of wheat emblem in the background. In the predella beneath, Christ is shown telling the parable from the boat. In the other lancet Abel is shown with a shepherd's crook, and his sheep are around him. In the background is the horn of plenty. In the predella the sacrifice of Abel is shown (Gen. 4:3).

Inscriptions: There went out a sower to sow
And the Lord had respect for Abel
