Subject/Title of Window: St. James the Less
Brief Description of Subject: The bottom portion of the window depicts St. James the Less’s martyrdom. When St. James was an old man, he was thrown off the top of a temple, but he did not die. Because of this, he was clubbed and stoned to death. The center portion of the window depicts St. James standing with a bishop’s crozier in one hand and stones in the other. The upper portion of the window depicts a white windmill on a red background that signifies Mosaic Law.
