Subject/Title of Window: The Acolyte

Brief Description of Subject: The bottom portion of the window depicts a priest giving last rites to a sick person with an acolyte holding the bell which symbolizes the call to attention of the presence of Christ in the eucharist. The center portion of the window depicts the acolyte standing holding a large candlestick with a lighted candle.  He is wearing a short white surplice over a long dark cassock. The upper portion of the window depicts a single candle in a gold candlestick and set of silver bells.  These are used during processions and Mass by the acolyte.
