Brief Description of Subject: Mater purissima (Mother Most Pure), urn with lilies.
The Proclamation of the Death of Mary. Mary is told the time of death by an angel. Hour glass on the table.
The Descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost: Acts 2:1-4. Tongues of flame over Mary and eleven apostles.
Christ appears to His Mother: Luke 24:33 (cf. Acts 1:14 for a definition of who are part of the "company"), and Luke 24:36. Resurrected Christ, accompanied by cherubs, greets Mary, seated with prayer book.
