Luke 2:41-52
Jesus at 12 years old accompanied his parents to Jerusalem for the annual Passover Festival. After the celebration they started home, but Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His parents didn't miss him the first day. They assumed he was with friends among the travelers. They looked for him that evening among their relatives and friends. When they couldn't find him, they went back to Jerusalem to search for him there.

Three days later they discovered him. He was in the temple sitting among the teachers of Law, discussing questions with them and amazing everyone with his answers.

"Son!" said his Mother to him, "Why have you done this to us? Your father and I have been searching for you everywhere."
"Why did you need to search?" he asked. "Didn't you know that I would be here at the Temple, in my Father's House?" They did not understand what he meant.

Then he returned to Nazareth with them. His mother stored all these things in her heart.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.

If you have any questions, additions or corrections, or think you can provide better images and are willing to share them, please contact donald20@msu.edu
