Brief Description of Subject: We have one stained glass object: “In a Southern Tradition” b Dwayne Lowder (American, 1936-). Occupying the upper 2/3 of the image is an arch divided into three bands of equal width which extend vertically down the sides of the image into a pyramidal form at bottom. The sides of the pyramid progress upward in step-like fashion. Repeated throughout are duck, house, moon, sun, and rainbow shapes, as well as squares, rectangles and curving lozenge shapes. Gift of the artist, 1984/5.3
