Subject/Title of Window: St. Andrew and St. Peter
Brief Description of Subject: Andrew, fisherman brother of Peter, was bound to his cross. His symbol is usually referred to as St. Andrew’s cross. Simon Peter is symbolized by two croseed keys alluding to Matthew 16:19, where Jesus said to Peter, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven.” The upside down cross alludes to the humility of Peter as he approached his martyrdom.
