Brief Description of Subject: The glass for the window is mouth blown Fremont antique glass that was made to order. It is called mouth blown “flash” glass meaning it has layers of color and translucency which create shading and richness of depth. Much of the glass was chosen to diffuse the light. It is also painted and kiln-fired to achieve the delicate watercolor effect. The glass was carefully chosen to create a movement of color and shading. The design reflects both the rootedness of the earth and the light and lightness of the Spirit.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.
All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
