Subject/Title of Window: And Was Buried

Brief Description of Subject: One of a set of ten rectangular windows depicting the Life of Christ after the Apostles' Creed. This one is "He Was Buried" and depicts a closed tomb, with an ear of wheat, symbol of the Resurrection. To upper right of tomb can be seen three empty crosses. Made by John Vanderburgh, of Vanderburgh Art Studios, Zeeland, MI. We recevied two forms, only one of which indicates that these windows were made with enamel paint.
