Subject/Title of Window: John the Baptist

Brief Description of Subject: The John the Baptist window has been re-purposed to the chapel at St. Regis in Bloomfield Hills.

Background: St. John The Baptist is the one who identified Christ as the Messiah. The Gospel of John (the Evangelist)1:29 - 34 relates when John the Baptist saw Jesus coming towards him, he said "Behold the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world."

Window description: John the Baptist is holding a banner pole with a cross (victory over death) at the top.. The banner has John's words "Ecce Agnus Dei" -- Behold the Lamb of God.

Inscription: The bottom of the window contained the donor's name but is not visible on available photographs.
