Subject/Title of Window: St. Casimir

Brief Description of Subject: Background: St. Casimir (1458 - 1484) was born into royalty and died a natural death of tuberculosis. In his lifetime he was very devoted to the Passion and had taken a vow to the Virgin Mary never to marry. He briefly served as the ruler of Hungary.

Description of Window: St. Casimir is depicted in a royal robe and is wearing a crown. He is holding a lily (never married). Hand over heart looking at cross symbolizes his devotion to the Passion. Roses on table indicate his dedication to the Virgin Mary.

The location of this window is in the Chancel which is traditionally a place of honor.
