Brief Description of Subject: This window depicts St. Anne with Mary as a little girl. Anne is shown teaching Mary from a scroll, probably the Bible. She is the first teacher of the Blessed Mother in the faith. St. Anne is the patroness of the Family and of Married Life. St. Anne and her husband are revered as the founders of the extended Holy Family. A small piece of the relic of St. Anne was sent to the church last century. The parish has a St. Anne Society, rather than an Altar Society.
