Brief Description of Subject: One in a set of three windows located on the west wall of chancel. Adoration depicts a man in robe below an all-seeing eye, with flames representing the seven spirits. Most windows in the Alumni Memorial Chapel are sets of three on the same general topic with the same donor. This window is grouped with Sacrifice (R1b) and Thanksgiving (R1c). This image is slightly cropped on the right. Notable are the all seeing eye of God over the man; the flanking flames of the holy spirit, harkening to the image described in the Acts when flames appeared above the heads of the apostles when they became inspired; and the enfolding, embracing lines extended from the eye to the man beneath. Designed by Anthony Mako.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.

If you have any questions, additions or corrections, or think you can provide better images and are willing to share them, please contact stainedglass@museum.msu.edu
