Subject/Title of Window: Apocalyptic Vision of St. John

Brief Description of Subject: The first panel on the left shows St. Michael and angels driving Lucifer and Beelzebub out of Heaven. The first of the four horsemen of the apocalypse appears in this window, riding a white rose and holding a bow and wearing a crown. The second panel shows Christ enthroned with the twenty-four elders with their harps and crowns surrounding Him. The second horseman of the apocalypse is in this window; he is holding a sword and is surrounded by fire and lightning. In the third panel we see Christ receiving the angels of the seven churches. The bottom depicts the third horseman carrying a pair of balances. The final panel sows a woman clothed with the sun, holding the Child. This is symbolic of Mary and Jesus. The fourth horse of the apocalypse is in this window, with Death riding a pale horse, holding a scythe with vultures following.
