Subject/Title of Window: God the Holy Spirit
Brief Description of Subject: This is the last of three chancel windows that uses a symbol to represent a member of the Trinity, and set against a geometrical background that includes an eight pointed star --- symbol for the resurrection, rebirth, and new life, as Christ rose from the dead on the eighth day after entering Jerusalem. For this reason, baptismal fonts are usually octagonal in shape.
In this window, God the Holy Spirit is symbolized with a descending dove. This symbol has its origin from John's coverage of the Baptism of Christ ---"I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove," John 1:32 NKJV.
Lexan protection for this window was installed in 1987 by the Continental Glass Company of Minnesota.
