The Chancel Window
The figures in the last window are all facing the chancel window, the subject of which is the Resurrection of Our Lord. The main figure in the central panel is the figure of Our Lord. At the base of the tomb is one of the Roman soldiers who became as dead men, and round about Him the heavenly host of angels and cherubs bound together with the rainbow and the starry heavens. Below the angels in the right hand panel are shown the three Marys, while in the left hand panel is Christ appearing to Mary Magdalene in the garden. The large central tracery shows the Ascension of Our Lord.

In the canopy, surrounded by angels are symbols of the Resurrection --- a butterfly (Christ) next to an empty cocoon (tomb), and an Easter lily.

Viewing the tracery of the window from the outside, one can see that the architect designed a space for five lancets. The actual window only utilizes three lancets. Thus the dimensions of the stained glass window is different from those intended by the architect.

Starting in 1996 all of the Willet windows were sent back to their studio in Philadelphia for restoration. The restored windows were re-dedicated in 1998.
